The “Sequence” exhibition run from May till June 2016. The theme was rather specific, and it was interesting to see how different artist interpreted it in their own ways. There were images tied together by a core story, a rather cinematic approach:

Another group of artist was exploring a single location or theme, coming back, discovering different aspects of the same place or motif:

There ware also other approaches, utilising a technique, an emotional charge, or that hard to define personal voice. We hope you enjoy the show as much as we did putting it all together. We do realise sequencing is a bit of a higher skill in photography, we had many submissions where the individual images were strong but the contextual spine between them was absent. We hope the selection of images and the display of such varying approaches will also help those of you who weren’t quite sure how to put a series together.
